A very suggestive
countryside surrounds the farm resort, which is an ideal
place to admire the rolling hills of this land and the beautiful
landscapes of the mount of Carpegna and the Natural Park of Simone
and Simoncello which is just ten kilometres from Ca’ dell’Aia. This
is the reason why the farmhouse and the surrounding area have been
stated contiguous with the Regional Natural Park.
The farmhouse stands in the hearth of the upper Montefeltro, a very good position that permits to visit several old towns dating back to the Middle Ages and ancient building of great cultural and architectural value, like Piandimeleto and its beautiful Counts Oliva’s Castle. It is perfectly preserved and actually houses the “Museum of Peasant Tradition” and the “Museum of Earth Science”.

In the neighbourhood of Ca’ dell’Aia are other charming towns dating back to the Middle Ages or the Renaissance, like Frontino, Pietrarubbia, Lunano, Carpegna, Pennabilli, Sant’Angelo in Vado, Urbania, etc. The beautiful Urbino and San Leo are just 40 kilometres away. A little further than San Leo and Urbino are other important towns of artistic interest: Gradara and San Sepolcro (Tuscany).
The seaside is about 50 minutes’ drive from the farmhouse.
Our farm resort is in a very beautiful area that borders with Romagna and Tuscany, and that spreads over the hills between the Central Apennine and the Adriatic Sea: it is the enchanting land called Montefeltro; so called because it belongs to the duke of Urbino and whose name is now synonym for history, culture, nature, and traditions.
